Adam had been watching the first girl to enter the room, when another one entered. Adam glanced at the girl, then turned his attention back at the first girl. He frowned when she scowled at him. He then looked towards the front of the room at the Professor. He wondered when the class would begin. Another girl then rushed into the room. Adam paid little attention to her, not wanting anyone else to scowl at him.
Adam was glad when the Professor stood up and started the lesson. The Professor then asked if anyone knew what protego did. Adam looked around the room so see if there were any hands up. He had no idea what protego did, but was anxious to know. Adam then looked towards the door when another student entered. He then looked back at the Professor. It seemed nobody wanted to say what protego did. Adam was glad when the Professor started to explain it. "Oh.." Adam said to himself when the Professor explained what the spell did. She had then asked if anybody knew what any of the spells on the board did. Adam started looking at them to see if there were any ones he knew or had heard about.
A student then asked the Professor if the Jelly Legs jinx gave the victim Jelly legs. Adam kept his eyes on the Professor to see if the girl's answer had been correct. When the Professor said yes, Adam immediately wrote it down on a piece of parchment. He wanted to write down everything he could so he knew as much as possible. The Professor then began to speak some more, so Adam quickly finished writing, then looked up at the Professor. The Professor started talking about a spell called 'Engorgio'. "Ooo." Adam said when the Professor demonstrated what the spell did. He thought it was extremely cool.
A boy then came in, late, and Adam couldn't help but stare at him. Adam then turned his attention towards the Professor, to see what her reaction was. Adam was surprised the Professor was so nice, but still made a note in his head, not to be late. The Professor then began talking to the class again. Since Adam had his book out already, all he had to do was look at it. He then began to write.
Jelly Legs Jinx - Makes the victims legs shake uncontrollably.
Confundus Charm - The Confundus Charm is used to confuse a person.
Cushioning Charm - The Cushioning Charm creates an invisible cushion.
Petrificus Totalus - This spell causes the victim's body to become 'rijid'.
Protego - This charm will make a magical shield that deflects minor to moderate spells and jinxes cast by an opponent.
Engorgio - The enlargement spell, causes things to grow in size
The Professor then had said for them to turn the paper in, get the homework assignment, then leave. Adam timidly stood up, grabbed his stuff then headed towards the front of the room. He then stopped in front of the Professors desk, and gave her his paper. He wasn't sure if it was what she wanted or not, he just hoped he did a good job on it. He then continued standing there waiting for the Professor to say what she thought of his paper.
