Ah, it was a beautiful Monday afternoon, The sun was shining, the breeze was blowing, the sky was clear, everything seemed to be just falling into place. The small waves of the lake off to his right splashed slightly as it's epicenter was as placid and smooth as a piece of glass. Yes, this had to be a good sign for his first lesson. Today, he chose the phoenix as his first lesson, first because it was one of his favorite creatures, and second, it was inspiration with it's regards to the reopening to the school.
Dante... you look nervous... calm down, you'll be fine. You're students will love you.
A calming feminine voice filled his mind as he glanced beside him to see his large black and white pit bull stride up and lay next to the waters.
"I know, Fi-Fi, I'm just wondering if I'll have the same problems as some of the other professors have been having." He chuckled slightly, reaching into a bag and pulling out a few pieces of parchment that held the information from his lesson.
Glancing up, he noticed it was about ten till 1 in the afternoon, and students should be making thier way shortly. Taking a deep breath, Dante glanced at his 4 legged friend again. "Wish me luck." he smiled.
Good Luck, master.

Rayn left the castle with plenty of time to get to her Care of Magical Creatures Class, she had already decided that, aside from Flying Class, and even though this was their first class, this was her favorite, her reasoning...she loved animals.
Yes, yes, the sixth year Hufflepuff had a deep love for animals, believe strongly in animal rights, her brother always got mad at her for bring home stray animals, hell she was even a vegetarian.
The lake came into view first, a few steps later the outline of a man, the Professor, and his dog. When she came closer she smiled warmly, yea...she was going to like this class...animals...cute Professor...yea...lifes good.
"Afternoon Professor Kingston!" Her tone and smile we both genuine, she glanced down to Fi-Fi. "Awww...she's so pretty!" she commented, allowing the bag that held her school supplies that was hanging on her sholder to slid to the ground as she bent down slightly, knees to her chest, and offered her hand to the dog for her to sniff before Rayn attempted to pet her, proper etiquette for animals.
