Rules
Please remember you are student when you role-play your flying. You cannot always get it the first try, you cannot always be perfect…after all you are taking FLYING CLASS. I will deduct points for straight perfection, the only students that would have the excuse of doing SOME things perfect and whatnot would be the Quidditch players, and for the time being, we have none of those, so yes, keep that in mine, thank you.
Classroom
Those of you who own there own brooms, may use them during class, I will not force you to use those horrendous brooms the school owns unless need be. First years, I’m sorry, but you are not allowed to have your own broom that’s the schools rules, not mine.
No wands are need, and anyone caught hexing a broom, for any reason will have detention with me…that can be a very serious thing, and I will not allow it in my class.
You will have one class a week, every Monday. The majority of your classes will be role-played, so be ready!
Have fun, this is Flying after all!
Quidditch talk is allowed in this class!
Homework
After a lesson has been posted, you have one week to turn in the homework
Once you have finished your homework, send it in an owl, do not post it. Posting it can cause people copying and I want to see what you write, not someone else. If you post it I will consider it not turned it and you will have a lovely slip owled to you telling you about your detention along with how many points your house loses.
The subject it to be titled with whichever lesson your doing, along with your class, I teach two classes now.
Example:
Subject: Flying, Lesson 2
Those in my History of Magic class take note of this.
As soon as I open the work I want to see at the top and center your name, house, then year.
Example:
John Doe
Hufflepuff
7th
Grading Scale
Passing:
Outstanding – O: 20 House Points
Exceeds Expectations – E: 15 House Points
Acceptable – A: 10 House Points
Failing:
Poor – P: 0 House Points
Dreadful – D: -5 House Points
Troll – T: -10 House Points
Not turning it in, or posting it you will lose 30 House Points.
Your grade will mostly depend on your role-play.
