Rules
Classroom
No casting spells, this is History of Magic, you only need a book, parchment, ink, and a quill. I will take points for spell work…you have been warned.
I will post two different classes once a week, the first is your lesson, it’s all you will need to know to do your homework and to participate in the class discussion, and the class discussions are the ones you have to post in, I like knowing your views, you can gain house points through these, or lose them, depending on how active you are.
Only if we are discussing the first Quidditch game in History are you allowed to talk about Quidditch during class…I have a tendency to stray away from lessons when talking about Quidditch, talk about it before and after class please.
Homework
After a lesson has been posted, you have one week to turn in the homework
Once you have finished your homework, send it in an owl, do not post it. Posting it can cause people copying and I want to see what you write, not someone else. If you post it I will consider it not turned it and you will have a lovely slip owled to you telling you about your detention along with how many points your house loses.
The subject it to be titled with which ever lesson your doing, and as soon as I open the work I want to see at the top and center your name, house, then year.
Example:
John Doe
Hufflepuff
7th
Grading Scale
Passing:
Outstanding – O: 20 House Points
Exceeds Expectations – E: 15 House Points
Acceptable – A: 10 House Points
Failing:
Poor – P: 0 House Points
Dreadful – D: -5 House Points
Troll – T: -10 House Points
Not turning it in, or posting it you will lose 30 House Points.
