Students Name:
Rayn Tenzaku
Year:
6th
House:
Hufflepuff!
Physical Features:
Like all Japanese Rayn has that ageless look about her, only her eyes give away her youth. They are dark-brown to black, depending on the light that you see them in, but either way they still holed that shine of hope that only one who has not lost all hope in the world could still possibly have. And usually, to bring out that glisten, she wears light browns to a shimmer white for her eye shadow color.
The hair that frames her face at all times matches the shades of her eyes. Once again it all depend on the lighting, in the sun her hair shines as a medium to dark brown, and in the dimness of candle-light her hair is a glossy black that moves with the slightest of breeze. The ‘gypsy’ style cut that she wears her hair in is a razor tipped cut that is short in that front and gradually grows longer as it descends a few inched below her shoulders.
With her hair color, eyes, and the gloss she applies to her lips seem to help the contrast she has to her pale even tan, which has a slight glow to it, hinting that she has always taking care of herself. At least one gallon of water a day, a well balanced diet, and cleaning her face with special face cleansers three times a day has helped her through childhood to keep up this skin complexion.
The water and balanced diet not only helped her skin but also helped her keep a well proportioned body throughout childhood and into her adolescents. Never over weight, skinny but not to skinny, always balanced.

Like all peoples’ history, Rayn’s starts before she was born. Her immediate family, although pure Japanese wizarding blood, had not always lived in Japan . Her mothers family had live in Britain for time close to nine years, the father working with the Ministry of Magic in international affairs, this allowed Hokuto, her older sisters, and older brother to attend Hogwarts, after they had finished school the family moved back to Japan, the main reason, the family missing their 'home'.
Atsushi, her father and his sister had been shipped off to a Japanese Wizarding School. Both her mother and father finish school the same year, and both started their careers that summer.
Atsushi began working for the Ministry of Magic of Japan, her mother went into acting. The two‘s meeting was of fate (as some would say) Atsushi was a practical man, not into musicals or theater or any silly non-sense that is not reality. But one night his work friends tricked him into going to a new musical. Atsushi was just about to leave when he heard Hokuto (who was playing a supporting character) spoke her first line, the young girls voice captivated him, and when she sang the man found himself swept away and wishing to met this woman. Atsushi made no protest to attending the after party with his friends, it is there that he ’bumped’ into Hokuto, and stammered out a shy ’Hello, you were amazing…’ Hokuto Akimitsu fell instantly in love with Atsushi Tenzaku and was more than ready to settle into his life. Atsushi, more logical about it, yes he was strongly attracted to her, but love and lust can easily be mixed up, after all one simple can not just ‘fall in love’. So he forced the woman through a three year courtship, which would have lasted long is she had not put her foot down.
Not long after their wedding Hokuto was pregnant with the child who would become her first son. She named him Silver, after much of a fight with Atsushi, but he aloud her to name the child so as long as he went to the same school as his father. Two years later they had their second son, this time Atsushi told Hokuto she could name the child as she wished as long as he attended the Japanese Wizarding School and the name was on Japanese Origin. She agreed, naming him Rynjir, but called him Ryn for short.
Nine years had past since the birth of Ryn, Silver was off to his first year at school, Hokuto had given up her career and became a full time mother, and Atsushi had gone above and beyond in his work and was now the head of Japans Minister of Magic International Affairs, nothing could have made things more perfect, but he wanted at least one more son.
Hokuto fought with him for a year, saying it was to late for them to have a third child, but in the end she became pregnant, and that following year on December 23rd, she had her third child, a girl. Hokuto was happy that she had a girl, she had always wanted one, but to the newborns father a girl was an insult from God. She named the girl Rayn.
Atsushi wanted nothing to do with his daughter, this broke Hokuto’s heart, the man she had loved for so long, turning his back like that. Instead Rayn’s father put all his attention on his two sons. Silver, who was just now in his third year, and Ryn who started his schooling that year.
Now at the age of five, Rayn was moving along well with her growth, she was a healthy child who could walk alone and even speak clearly when she wanted to. Ryn was now in his sixth year had taken the place of Silver and ‘their fathers’ favorite’, since Silver went into making Quidditch brooms in London instead of going into the Ministry and staying in Japan. But, her beloved mother who had always given her the most attention, since there was lack of from the father, became very ill, some say it was from the heartache from having a husband who had not help since the girls’ birth, a husband whom she loved so dearly to forsake their only daughter, by over all the cause of the illness was left unknown. And though she loved her daughter the most, with in year Rayn was five, her mother died.
And even though she was five she still remembers the last thing her mother said to her, 'Rayn, always remember my name means ‘North Star’ that star is the brightest and will guide you…when you see it, think of me and I’m with you.' Hokuto had told this to her little girl since her birth and always pointed it out the star in the sky.
Confusion and sadness hit the little girl hard, added to by the first word her father had ever spoken to her in her life; he said it the day they found her mother dead.
'This is your fault, you’re the reason she’s dead.'
Rayn took what her mother and father said to her…and she locked them away in her memory.
She only spent about three minutes in her fathers care before her Aunt Akari came and took her to her house. Rayn stayed the night there, then the next day her oldest brother Silver got her and took her to her new home with him. Silver was eight-teen at the time he took his little sister in.
Over the next year he found out things she liked and disliked in the search to find activities for her to do during the day when he was working. Rayn was enrolled in singing lessons and language lessons mainly focusing on English. While she did this, Silver engaged himself into trying to found his own Quidditch Broom Manufacturing Company. In two years his business took off on an international leave, Sliver became well known and had frequent invites to Quidditch games. Rayn, now seven, had added guitar lessons to her other two, and after she watched her first match of Quidditch, the Toyohashi Tengu from Japan vs. the Gorodok Gargoyles from Lithuania, became a die hard fan of the Toyohashi Tengu.
That year Rayn was seven, something else happened, while she was visiting her Aunt and Uncle, Silver made a trip to Japan to visit their father…he never made it back, he died the night before his flight back to London.
This made her stay longer than planned with her aunt and uncle. Two years past living in France with them and Rayn was now nine. She had now mastered Japanese, English, and French (she had to pick it up seeing how she was living there), and she knew her guitar well enough to start trying to make her own songs, her singing matched that of her mothers, and she had the Broom Company her brother had left her in the event of his death, however she was not allowed to fully take it over until her eighteenth birthday.
It was one summer day after he French lesson, she was coming home and found a different care in the driveway, when she entered the house she found her aunt and uncle entertain a guest, her other brother Ryn. The now twenty-year old explained that he was now living in Britain, had a fiancé, and wished to extend his little sister the invitation to come live with them. She accepted, she missed living over there, so she moved in with her brother and his soon to be wife Mina, they married a year later.
Now Rayn is eleven, all settled and living in Britain with her brother and sister-in-law, and received her letter for the same school her mother attend, Hogwarts.
Her first five years seemed to fly by, she was sorted into Hufflepuff, and enjoyed every minuet of it, the classes, the people, and most of the professors. During her holidays she would either go back to her brothers, uncle and aunts, or one of her friends houses.

Some of her weaknesses are, her Family, mostly memories of her oldest brother. (There is no sorrow greater in a time of misery than to recall a time when we were happy. <- Good quote to explain.) The fact that her father is to busy to pay her any mind or more or less doesn’t want anything to do with her.
She fears that in the end she will amount to nothing and be alone with her misery as her only company. To wake-up one day and find that all this, her reality right now was just a dream. (Within a dream…HA! Poe!)
Her brother's company is Storm Enterprises – Top of the line racing brooms for the top riders.
