Professor Smith hurriedly walked into her Charms classroom, today was a busy day because she was trying to prepare for the school dance. She took she wand out of her robes, and magically wrote on the board.
There is not a class today! I am sorry for the inconvenience, but with the school dance right around the corner, there is a lot of things that I need to quickly do, THERE are MANY of you that are behind in your studies, so today is the day to catch up.
You may stay in here if you like and complete your work, or do it where ever you please, I will post a list later of the people who owe me assignments.
However if you were counting on todays lesson, you may complete this for extra credit, only those who have finished all the assignments may do it.
Write me a essay about your time so far at Hogwarts, three paragraphs at least, +25 house points if you complete it.
Then you may put it on my desk, under "Your Name. Extra Credit"
thank you =] Once she had all the wrote down, she ran back out to the room

Daniel walked into the class room, then looked around, seeing no one. How strange. He shrugged it off and then looked at the board after grabbing his stuff out, reading the notice. "Shame." He muttered and began writing about his time at Hogwarts. It wouldn't surprise him if he was the only one doing this extra curricular assignment.
Daniel Halford, Forth Year ; Ravenclaw ; Extra Credit
My time at Hogwarts has been different to most others. For example, in my first year I still needed to adjust to the fact that I was a wizard, and I could use a wand instead of doing everything the muggle way, which is how I am used to doing things in life. I also needed to learn that I couldn't bring any of my beloved muggle technology into the castle without it screwing up almost permanently, which yes, saddened me deeply, but I soon got over it and managed to realize that Hogwarts is a safe haven for those with magic blood. During my first year, I also seemed to learn quite a bit, and it became obvious why I was placed into Ravenclaw, according to my peers, as I was always doing my assignment either before they're due, or for when they're due. I didn't mind being placed into Ravenclaw, but I'm sure that being in Gryffindor would have been quite interesting, too.
Second and third years were quite dull, as I didn't really have much going on. I met new friends, old ones went, and I seemed to miss the seventh years the most. I had to admit, one or two of them were pretty hot, especially that Zak Mikashi. Phwoar. Luckily for me, I still keep in contact with him, and a few others. I also learned that just because someone had left education, it doesn't mean I shouldn't break contact with them all together. I seemed to be closer to Hogwarts than I had ever known in my third year. I had met some of the ghosts, and they seemed pretty friendly, I loved it here, even more than the muggle world.
It got to the forth year and I signed up for my forth year classes, I only think I'm behind on one subject, which is potions, but hey, who cares about that class? I don't really need it, to be honest. Well, I guess that there pretty much sums up my time here, I've not had a lot happen to me, let's be honest. But one thing that did make a massive difference to me was me realizing I'm actually a homosexual. I have to admit, it felt pretty good being able to come out to the people here, and now I don't care what other people think about it, as it's me, and they can't change that.
Daniel smiled to himself, packed up and put the piece of paper on the desk at the front, and then walked out of the class room.

Post by Adam Baker on May 16, 2009 7:59:59 GMT -6
Adam walked into the Charms classroom like he had every other Charms lesson. When he walked in though, he didn't see anyone around, not even the Professor. Adam got a little worried, wondering if he had been late and the Professor moved the class somewhere else for the lesson. But when he looked at the board, it explained it. When he heard there was extra credit work, he was happy as he would do anything to gain Hufflepuff some housepoints. Adam Baker Hufflepuff First Year Charms extra credit Hogwarts is a great place to go. It is really big and you can get lost just heading to the bathroom, which I have done a couple times. But even though you can get lost, your never frusterated about it because where ever you end up, it is magical. From the Great Hall, to the common rooms, to the hallways, to even the trophy room. Each place is special.
My time at Hogwarts so far has been great. From the moment I walked inside the castle I was amazed. The Great Hall so far is one of my favorite places to go. When us first years walked in, our mouths dropped open. The ceiling was lit up like the sky, with stars shining above. At first I thought there wasn't even a roof, but then somebody told me is was bewitched to look like that. Still, it was amazing.
I was real scared when the Professor called my name to go up in front of everyone sit down on the stool and put the dusty old hat on my head. But after seeing a couple people do it in front of me, I got the idea of what the hat did. But I was still scared. I could feel everyone's eyes on me when I walked up to the hat. I had then sat down on the stool while the professor put the hat on my head. It was only there for a few seconds when it yelled "Hufflepuff!" which jumped me a little.
I could hear most everyone cheering, especially the Hufflepuff table. It was kind of weird since I didn't know any of them, but I guess they were just excited to have another Hufflepuff. Which is one main reason why I try to do what I can to get as much housepoints for Hufflepuff as I can.
Going from class to class it kind of scary since there are so many other people, especially bigger ones walking around bumping into each other. I have been bumped into a couple times, but I didn't get hurt too bad.
The lesson are great. I love learning in the classes, especially classes like Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, and Care of Magical Creatures. There are the more boring classes like History of Magic, and Muggle Studies. History of Magic because it is kind of like a muggle history class. I love learning about the magic history, but the teacher kind of goes on and on and on like a muggle history teach. I guess that's just how anyone teaches history. Muggle Studies is kind of boring because it's pretty easy. Even though I am what people call a pureblood I know a lot about Muggles because I lived with them.
Well that is how my time at Hogwarts has been so far. I still cannot wait to do much for stuff. I heard Quidditch is a great Magical Sport. I think I am going to try out for the team. Hopefully I make it.[/size] When Adam was done with his paper, he set it on the Professors desk, then walked off.
