Daniel walked in with two pieces of parchment on his hands. One was filled out properly, the other wasn't. He laid down one piece of parchment first, which read the following. Start a Club Form. Your Name: Daniel Halford Year: Forth House: Ravenclaw Club Name: Pornography club Description: We make pornography and sell it on the muggle website eBay. It's pretty fun, if you ask me.He then giggled and handed in the form filled in correctly. Start a Club Form. Your Name: Daniel Halford Year: Forth Year House: Ravenclaw Club Name: Peer Mentoring ; Description: Basically, the idea is to help first and second years through their studies if they are having a hard time. Also, it may be able to help break the barrier between different year groups making friends with each other. An alternative to this is if the first or second year is having troubles and is referred, then the student will be spoken to by a peer mentor and asked if they need any help with anything, or just someone to talk to.
Also, this scheme can help make newer students feel more welcome and confident about themselves, and break down the bullying that goes on. Also, through research, a student is more likely to tell another student something if they're in trouble, rather than a professor.

Professor Smith smiled as Daniel Halford walked into her office. She watched as he laid down a piece of parchment on her desk, she picked it up and read through it. She looked up at him, as he giggled and handed her another piece of parchment. She smiled and shook her head, "Well of course you know this first form is a no go," she said playingly with Daniel and set the first form aside. "So let me read through this one," carefully she read through the next club form, this is a pretty good idea . "Well Daniel it seems you have a good idea here, and I really like the sound of this." She sat the paper down, "So I have a question, what years would be doing the mentoring?" she thought a minute, "Oh and would you be the main leader of the club?"

Daniel chuckled at her comment about the first form being a no-no, then hoped that the Professor had accepted the second form. He then smiled when she said it was a good idea. Of course, he hadn't thought about who, or what years would be doing the mentoring, so he simply said. "Well, I guess it could be forth year and above, maybe third year. I guess as long as someone is mature enough to do it, and not spread gossip around Hogwarts, then I don't mind who the mentors are. " He felt like for once he was being quite mature, an odd feeling that he didn't usually feel, as he normally messes around or does something stupid. "Well, I wouldn't mind taking it on as the main leader type figure, but I would, obviously need some help from staff promoting it, and possibly getting a few names of people who might be in need of this sort of opportunity, and possibly some names of people who would be good as mentors?"
He then smiled and took the piece of parchment with the prank club on it, screwed it up and whipped out his wand, uttering two words, almost inaudibly, then the piece of parchment just burst into flames and was gone.

"Well of course you would have a teacher sponsor, they would help advise the club and supervise it," she explained to Daniel. "And I agree that it should be forth years, I think that forth years would be responsible enough to handle mentoring someone. So I will head to the staff room in a few minutes and post up the thing for your club, so a staff member can choose to sponsor it, they will notify you if they choose it, however if you have someone that you would like in mind, you may go talk to them about."
Professor Smith, opened her filing cabinet and slid the form in the appropriate folder. "Okay now Daniel, I will send you another form by owl here in the next little bit. Probably later today, so keep an eye out for it. This will be about your club, and I need to find an empty room where you can hold your meetings. Do you have any questions?"

Daniel nodded until she got to the last question about having any questions, then he quickly blurted out with "Is there that Room of Requirement? I've heard about it and I was hoping I could use it if it's real, that way no one could get in while I'm having a meeting with someone."
He didn't think about what he was going to say in the slightest, and he dreaded the reaction, too. Maybe he should just forget the whole idea now, maybe he just blew his chances. [/blockquote]

Professor Smith looked at Daniel shocked. The Room of Requirements was a room at Hogwarts that was very much real, and it provided the user with everything they need. The room changed to what you needed at the time. She thought carefully about her words, "Yes Daniel the Room of Requirements exists. And I don't see any problem with you using it as a place for you club to meet I guess. As there has been many club meetings held there over the years." "Well Daniel is there anything else that you need to ask,?"

No, professor, that's all. Thank you." He said in a sing-song voice, then fluttered away from the room, his robes making it look like he was floating. He then opened the door to the exit and smiled at the professor, then said "Once again, thank you." The newest objective; finding the room of requirement.
