Juliana woke particularly early that morning. Well, early for a weekend that is. Most students enjoyed sleeping in as long as possible on the weekends however she was a different matter. She'd always been an early bird and on most days it didn't even seem possible for her to sleep past nine or ten in the morning at the very latest. Having strange sleeping patterns was something that she was used to.
The sun was barely seeping through the window to the right of her. It was merely around 6 in the morning which meant that most, if not all, the other students would still be sleeping in their own dormitories. The one thing that she liked about waking up early was the peaceful quiet she would be met with for the few hours she had on her own.
She quickly changed into a white blouse with a black vest and a skirt .She showed off her Slytherin colors proudly. A quick stride was all it took to make it out the front doors of Hogwarts castle to see that the sun had now begun to rise. There was still enough time to reach the lake. Perfect.
It was a rather nice day, although it was slightly chilly outside, it was still nice. It was a good break from the heat that surrounded the country during the days of summer. This was that weather that Juliana was the most fond of, that time of the year when it was neither hot nor cold, but simply warm or cool.
Finding the tree that overlooked the Lake's waters, leaned her back against the tree, the breeze blowing light strands of hair into her face. She was so anti-social.

Oh my distorted smile will tighten its grip Now somebody is asking when you will disappear You have to believe yourself to be happy now You can't reply on someone else to be happy
"What am I even doing up this early?" A deep, tired voice found it's way down to the lake, along with a forth year Ravenclaw. Naturally, he was talking to himself, as he didn't expect anyone else would be crazy enough to be up this early, after all, it's the weekend. Who gets up on a weekend? A normal person usually couldn't even function at about six in the morning, let alone someone who hadn't got to bed till three in the morning, at the earliest. Daniel had spent most of his night doing essays and writing 'fan fictions', as his muggle friends used to call them. Funny name, he had always thought, but if that's what they were called, who was he to argue? He didn't even spend a lot of time in 'reality' as most people would call it if they lived in the muggle world.
Finally trudging down to the lake front, he could see the water rippling up to the shore, if it could be called that, and then finally flowing elegantly back into the mass of water. He was sure it could be classified as an ocean, but then again, it was in the middle of a land, so it couldn't be. It was pretty big, though. He thought too much, it was a well known fact. He would think about every consequence of his actions, unless he was in the middle of a fight, which he didn't usually plan out. Naturally, he wasn't all there, having only got three hours sleep, and then going down to the water front. He then sat down, well, stumbled over would be the words for it, in any case, he found the floor, then made himself comfortable. He was tempted to lay down, but that would mean getting himself wet, but then again, he was wearing his trench coat, amongst other clothing, so he could be able to stay relatively dry. He found it amazing that he had managed to even get dressed that morning, he would usually end up walking out the castle naked, or he would have fears he would do that, get paranoid and stay in bed all day.
He noticed that the moon was still getting it's last look at the world before it would finally need to provide light to the other side of the world until the sun rised over there. Although the sun was rising, Daniel was still rather chilly, which is expected, after all, it is early still. Time passed by slowly, becoming six o'five, then six o'six, etcetera. He knew that he had made the fatal mistake of getting up early; it was going to be a very long day, if not too long. He knew he would probably end up falling asleep at some point, and making a fool of himself, but it's one step at a time.
It took him maybe a few more minutes to notice another person down by the lake, someone he recognized from somewhere, but wasn't exactly a friendly face. To make conversation or not? That was the fatal question. He had pondered for a few moments on whether or not to make conversation, but then decided he might as well. As he grew closer, he could see the face clearer. Juliana. The girl who sat next to him in Charms class, and she probably copied all his answers down, too. He didn't care that much, if she wanted to copy him and fail by not learning it all herself, then that's her problem and not his, because he'd know it all and she wouldn't. A few strides later and he was standing over her.
"Hello, Juliana." He said to her with a warm smile on his face, hoping that she might give him a decent reply. He wasn't sure what she was like out of class, she seemed to be pretty nice to him in class, but that might, also, be so she could copy his answers to the work. Without even asking, he sat down next to her and smiled once more, whipping his wand out and muttering two words, which then made a dead bird move out of his view. It was raised into the air, and then with the control of Daniel's wand, he moved it into the bushes where surely some creature would eat the carcass. He felt slightly rude, but then again, she was a Slytherin, she could be rude herself and it would be socially acceptable for her to be rude, due to the house she is in.
Not once had he ever sat down with someone of a higher year, especially out of class, so this was a new experience for him, it sort of sent butterflies in his stomach, and he couldn't exactly figure out why. Maybe it was nerves, in case her boyfriend, if she had one, came along and found him with her. The things he might do made him shudder to think.
I won't suffer, be broken, get tired, or wasted Surrender to nothing, or give up what I Started and stopped it, from end to beginning A new day is coming, and I am finally free
{{sorry it's so crap. x.x }} [/right]

Juliana continued to move her bangs from tickling her face in such an unfashionable manor. She sighed, watching the lake the scenery. Juliana wasn't the most friendly or earth-friendly person, but she could appreciate art, accordingly. She heard someone approaching and she braced herself for the confrontation.
She looked to the side, and saw that it was the boy that she always cheated off of in Charms class, and a number of other classes as well. He greeted her, formally, so she acceptably replied, "Hello."She didn't notice the warm smile on his face, because she'd only looked once and didn't turn back. She turned her attention away from him, and watched as he moved a dead bird from it's resting place. Juliana wasn't a nature freak, and couldn't care less where the bird's resting place was. She wasn't exactly sure why he did it, maybe to show off. Ravenclaws were such show-offs. Her nose wrinkled at the thought of someone trying to outshine her. She was being very snooty, for it to be very early in the morning. Her attitude never left her side, no matter who she was talking to.
He seemed sort of notice about something, Juliana felt the atmosphere, and it was so familiar. "Don't worry, I'm not going to rip your throat out until you piss me off." she told him, plain and monotone. OOC;; It's fine. =)
