It was a busy day in Diagon Alley, being a Saturday. She'd left the Hogwarts castle, and away from children, in order to travel to Diagon Alley today. She order a nettle tea, and when it arrived, she took it and sat at an empty table with it. She opened up her newest copy of Witch Weekly, and started reading.

Jonathan was walking around on Diagon Alley. He was trying to find something to do when he saw a teacher from Hogwarts. He walked up to her. "Hello Eva."he said as he sat down at her table

Eva's deep reading was interrupted by a familiar voice. She peered up over her magazine at him. "Why, Hello Johnathan." she said to him, before taking another sip of her tea. "How lovely for you to join me. Are you going to order something?" she asked him. In school they weren't exactly the best of friends, they hardly even knew each other. But, now that they were adults, petty house rivalries were put aside and they were civil towards each other.

"Yea. I guess I will." Jonathan said as he ordered a Firewhiskey. "So what brings you down here?" he asked as he brushed his robes off. ' I wander what she has done since we got out of school' he thought as he sipped his Firewhiskey.

Firewhiskey was her favorite drink, but she'd rather not order any alcohol in the middle of the day. "Well, I just wanted to get out of the castle for a while. Off of the grounds, rather. Actually, now that I think about it, I wanted to get away from the bloody place as much as possible." she smirked. Sometimes having no friends and living alone at Hogwarts as a teacher was a drag. She already didn't like children very much, and here she was, very young and vibrant, but she was working at Hogwarts. What she wouldn't give to work in the ministry. "What about you?" she asked him, taking another sip of her tea, and placing her magazine on the table, not wanting to seem rude.

Jonathan looked at Eva " I come down here alot. I usually just sit around the pub and listen to tales people give off." Jonathan sipped on his Firewhiskey and set it down. "I wish I was still a student so much fun for me. What about you?"

"Really?" Eva flicked an eyebrow at him curiously. "Well, I do say, life at Hogwarts was interesting at some times." she shrugged. "But, I like being independent and doing what I want. Not to say I didn't do that while in Hogwarts, but still..." she told him. "How are your students treating you? How are classes this year?" she asked him.

" Yea I do. Well most of them are good I guess.Except from teh out burst from the a couple of girls. Classes are preety good I guess. What about your's?" he asked as he tried to remember what Eva looked like when they was young

"Ahh, outbursts. You've got to be assertive I guess." she smirked. "Girls tend to do that. I did that in classes too. It's just something to distract them from classwork, but you've got to make class interesting, you know?" she suggested. "My classes are doing well. It's a difficult class, and they've just got to understand that. I can teach them all the fortune-telling techniques in the world, but I can't turn them into seers. It's a hard subject, but they'll come around." she said. "So, how's your wife?" she asked him, taking another sip of her tea.

" Good I guess. I think she's coming to visit soon. I'll tell her to come see you. Nothing better than a Slytherin Homecoming right?" he asked with a truffle. "So did you have a back up job if you didn't get this?" he asked

"That's wonderful. It's always great to see old friends again, even if we weren't exactly friendly towards each other." she explained to him. Then he asked if she had a backup job. "Well, the only major skill I have is Seering. I always wanted to work in the ministry, but Hogwarts prefers authentic teachers rather than phonies. So, I was basically drafted to work here. There are very little of us, you know. I'm also skilled in the Dark Arts, but that would only land me a trip in Azkaban, and so I leave those in the back of my mind for now." she said.

Jonathan laughed. " Well you could've got a Ministry Job. I was stuck with this or work at a potion shop and you know how much I hate potions." Jonathan took a gulp of Firewhiskey and finished it off. He ordered another one and slowly drunk it.

"No, I don't actually. Do tell." she said, interested in why he would dislike potions. In school, it wasn't her best subject, but she didn't exactly dislike it. She was indifferent towards it. She continued to sip on her tea as it cooled, and saw that he'd finished his firewhisky, and order another one. She knew if she had one, the dark mark that was embeded on her arm would come back to lifein her memory, reminding her of her malicious ways. She smiled anyway.

"Well let's say I'd rather be tied to a Hippogriph beak while it was in a fight with a Hungarin Horn Tail than do any major potions. I hate it so much!" he said in a hyper way. "So what was your favorite class?"

"That's a horrible predicament. I understand why you wouldn't want to put yourself in that position." she said. "My favorite class was divination. That being because I am a seer, and I excelled in that class. But, my second favorite was Charms. I guess that I was just good at it." she shrugged.
